The Tyrolia Adrenalin 13's are Tyrolia's contribution to the world of backcountry touring as part of their new line of bindings called AAA (Access All Areas). Much like the Marker Duke and Atomic Tracker these bindings combine reliable fixed downhill binding performance with comfortable walking mechanism for skinning up off piste terrain in the backcountry. The best of both worlds (uphill and downhill) without too much compromise on either end. You can ski them at the resort all season if you want, they will work just as well as your Peak 15's. Remember to choose a brake arm and match it up to the waist width of the ski you are putting it on.
Tyrolia AT Toe: The Alpine Touring (AT) Toe can be easily adjusted to alpine and touring boot norms and it secures constant release values also with rubber soles.
FR Pro Toe : The newly developed Freeride (FR) Pro Toe with its special construction and horizontal spring provides an optimal and ergonomic center of rotation for ski touring. In the end, it provides effortless walking and climbing. Mechanical adjustment of the toe's gliding element (AFS) and automatic adjustment of the heel allow adaptation to both alpine and touring boot sole norms.
AFD Metal 77mm: This extra wide AFD ensures better force transmission, more stability and therefore optimal performance.
Duracoating: A protective seal on the binding to help reduce wear for looks and performance.
Adjustable Climbing Aid: Climbing aids (0°, 7° and 13°), Can be used regardless of pole basket type. Optimal accessibility (sits on top of the heel piece). Very easy to operate.
AFS Metal: A 65 mm wide mechanical AFS gliding element secures constant release values also with rubber soles. In combination with two rollers this binding provides superior safety features with the rapid and exact boot re-centering that skiers expect from TYROLIA.
FreeFlex Technology: The platform of TYROLIA's AAAdrenalin binding provides the approved TYROLIA Freeflex function which allows the ski to flex as it is designed to do so it can retain its natural dynamics. Freeflex is enabled by the free gliding plate that runs within the titanal heel track and is supported by the center of rotation of the binding toe.
